Club Run to Camden Breakfast & Museum February 2020

Club Run to Camden Museum – February 2020
The morning started off with dark clouds as far as the eye could see, fortunately the weather held out and by the time we reached Camden the sun making an appearance. We departed McDonald’s at Minchinbury with a lovely couple Wendy and Ray who travelled from Orange on Saturday and stayed at Penrith overnight to attend our run on the Sunday, being non members they have been following the club on Facebook and decided to come on a run with us.
We had a good run to Camden where we met the other members who had travelled direct, after catching up and having a chat we entered the cafe to have a generous breakfast with a hot cuppa which was well organised by Christie & Darren.
After finishing breakfast we still had a little time before the Museum opened so many took advantage of browsing through the local stores. Soon it was 11.00am and we made our way to the Museum which housed an array of items that have been collected over the by gone years, an interesting item of note was the footage of the train that ran to Camden from 1882 and ceased operation in 1963
